Delphinium elatum | Dusky Maidens The beekeepers journal what is itThis Delphinium is grown from seed from New Zealand Delphiniums. A beautiful, deep mulberry pink delphinium with brown bees. Bred here in New Zealand for improved heat resistance, strong stems, vigor and longer life in the garden. Cold hardy too! Growing to an impressive 1. 5 metres in height, with powdery mildew resistant foliage, and it really shines as a vertical accent in a sunny garden bed especially en masse. A magnet for bees and pollinators.
